Pokémon are like buses. You wait patiently for the arrival of one and then 3 are announced in one go.

First up is Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee, due for worldwide release on 16thNovember. Second up is Pokémon Quest, a free to start game playable on both Switch and mobile devices. The game is available now on Switch and will be released on both the Apple Store and Google Play at the end of June. Gameplay takes place takes place on the mysterious Tumblecube Island and looks to be an action RPG where you battle wild Pokémon, hunt for treasure and search out secrets.  The game appears to use a simple touch screen battle mechanic suited to short bursts of gameplay, which is understandable given its mobile gaming target audience.

Finally The Pokémon Company has announced at the 2018 Pokémon Video Game Press Conference that the core  Pokémon game series will be getting a new game in the second half of 2019. Presumably this game will be coming to Switch, but very few details are currently available.
